I am grateful for forgiveness.  I needed it this morning after I lost my temper. 

I am grateful for cool, crisp, sunny mornings.  If only there were some way to make them last and keep the snow from coming in a few months.

I am grateful for prayer.  Life would be so dismal without prayer.

I am grateful Rachel is staying with us for a few days.  It has softened the blow of sending Ben to all day 1st grade.  I may or may not have cried all the way home after I dropped him off yesterday.  He's so young and he's gone for so long each day.

I did not think I would feel this way.  I am usually not so sentimental.  Yet, I feel like we are making a transition in our family from little kids/toddlers to school age children.  I have mixed emotions about this transition.

I am grateful for family.  It was so nice to have Grandpa, Grandma, and Rachel over for dinner last night.

I am grateful for this boy.  Today is his first day of first grade.  He was nervous and excited.  I am too.  I love him so much.  He is such a sweetie.

Gratitude

I am grateful for my friends in my ward.  I had two ladies watching my kids while 4 other ladies came to my house, packed up my stuff, and moved it all to my new house.  amazing!

I am grateful  we bought our first home today.

Sam

I am grateful for Sam teaching Ben how to ride a bike without training wheels.  Sam is amazing.  Not only did he try to teach Ben how to ride a bike, he also had Ben and Tom on their hands and knees scrubbing the kitchen floor.  Sam is Superman!

I am grateful for the weekend.  I love lazy mornings and hanging out with my hubby and kids.

I am grateful school is almost done.  I love school and all the fun things that my kids get to participate in, but I really love summer and seeing family, having lazy mornings, and playing at the water park. 

I am grateful I got an A in my English 1010 class.  That brings my cumulative GPA to 3.91.  (I know this post may seem braggadocios, but it really shows that hard work and miracles can make most dreams come true.)

I am grateful that Sam was home when I discovered Eliza this morning had slept in vomit.  The smell in her room was overwhelming.  Sam was a champ and took all the dirty linens and put them in the wash for me while I bathed Eliza.

I am grateful that we have at least one working car.

I know I've said it before, but I have the best friends in the world.  They take care of me and my family.  I am a very blessed girl.

I am grateful that today Ben doesn't have to wear a sweater to school.

I am very grateful for the ward we live in.  Our ward family is seriously the best.

I am very grateful that I earned 200 out of 200 on my final research paper in my English class.  This is a Christmas miracle in April.

I am grateful that Wendy's Kids Meals come with a mini size frosty and that Eliza never wants to eat hers.

I am grateful for a body that can move.  Me and my body have not always been on speaking terms.  I'm learning little by little to appreciate it more.  But today I walked/jogged on a treadmill for 31 minutes, and it felt good.

I am grateful for waking up to sunshine on this beautiful Sunday morning.  "There is sunshine in my soul today."

I am so grateful that my English class is almost done.  Give me biology any day of the week over English.

I am grateful for friends who are willing to be my workout buddies.  Because who wants to go to the gym alone?  Not me.

I am grateful for my minivan.  What would I do without it?  Even with all of its quirks it gets me and my family where we need to go and sometimes where we want to go.

I am grateful a home to live in with my family.

I am grateful for a just and all-knowing Father in Heaven.  I believe everything will work out in the end, and if it hasn't been worked out, then it is not the end yet.

I am grateful for people who are willing to help us with our kids.  It takes a village.

I am grateful for healthy children. 

I am grateful for the opportunity I have to further my education.  It is not always easy being a student and a parent at the same time, but it is very gratifying to have success in both.

I am grateful for Monday mornings.  You may think I'm crazy, but I do really well with a schedule and routine.  So do my kids.  Although I love the weekends with Sam, I am usually ready for routine by Monday.

I am very grateful for my granny Frances Shutts.  Despite trial and adversity she has always remained true to her faith.  She is an awesome example of a strong woman.  Happy birthday Granny.

I am grateful for a modern day prophet, Pres. Thomas S. Monson.  I'm excited to listen to him today and tomorrow.

I am grateful for my mother in law.  I don't want to brag, but she is the best.

I am grateful for hair color and hair cuts.  They are always refreshing.

I am grateful Camille found Baby Dolly.  She was sorely missed.

I am grateful to wake up to the sun lighting the sky and birds singing.  I love spring.

Today I am very grateful for temples.  I love the peace that I feel when I attend the temple.

I am grateful for a loving husband.  Sometimes we don't agree with each other, but that never lessens my love and respect for him.

I am grateful that my children have good friends to play with in the neighborhood.

I am grateful for lazy mornings with everyone still in pj's.  This is one of the best parts of being a family. 

I am grateful for good friends.  I live in a neighborhood surrounded by really good friends.  I am literally 1-2 minutes away from some of the best people I know.  All of my friends in my neighborhood have been a support to me and have become my family in many ways.  They are amazing and I love them.

I am very grateful for good teachers.  Both of my boys have wonderful teachers.  My boys are not always easy to handle, but Mrs. King and Mrs. Dew get an A+ for effort.  They love my boys and have helped them both immensely.  Being a good teacher is an act of love.  I believe that.

I am so grateful that my kids are good sleepers.  Props to all the moms and dads that get up every night to one or more of your kids crying.  I would not be able to handle that kind of interrupted sleep.  I think Heavenly Father knew that about me and blessed me with children who sleep through the night.  Thank you Heavenly Father.

I am grateful that I don't have to be anywhere or do anything today except be with my kids.  Don't get me wrong, sometimes busy days are good to keep us from getting bored.  But we have had 5 busy days in a row and starting tomorrow will have another 5 busy days.  I need days like today to slow down and take a breather.

This morning I am grateful to live around the corner from my children's elementary school.  I love walking to pick Ben up from school, especially on crisp spring days life today.

I'm grateful for a husband who is not afraid of vomit.  Last night when Tom threw up, Sam went running and cleaned everything up before I could get there.  Sam is my favorite person ever.

Today I am grateful for my Ben.  He made me a mother.  He makes me a better mother daily.  I love him from here to forever.

This afternoon I am grateful for nice weather.  It has been a long winter this year.  Long winter = cooped up kids.  Nice weather = kids playing outside.  The kids have been playing outside and enjoying the sunshine since they got home from school.  I love nice weather.

This morning I am thankful for Unisom.  Without it I would not have slept a wink last night.
